 Biography
I'm Mark Sheppeard Director of Faith Evangelical Ministries. I was borned again and started ministering at the age of 17. During summer camp meeting July, 2002 at the "Houston Revival Temple" A full gospel church on Mary Francis St. and Homestead Rd off of hwy 59N. There I was able to meet and play keyboard with the late "Jimmy Clanton". Jimmy was on the top 10 chart in 1958 for his Pop/rythm & blues song "I dream Just a Dream". Also, I was aquainted with and played for Link Davis Jr. who's dad was famous in the 1950's and 1960's and wrote famous cajun songs such as "Big Mamou". The Davis' were from the Port Arthur and western La area. Link jr. plays cajun fiddle, tenor sax, and accordian.  Periodically I'm able to play keyboard with "Carl wheeler" who was lead guitar player for "Micky Gilli" for 8 years during the 1960's. Now, He's a preacher  and has wrote and sings gospel songs. My Grandpa (one on right in picture was photographed in 1965 on Hitchcock St. off of hwy 59N or (Eastex Frwy) between Parker and Tidwell Rd in Houston,Tx). In 1949 my grandfather Harry Lindsay and grandmother Dale Lindsay attended a William Branham Healing Crusade in Dallas, Tx. They had witnessed people being healed of cancer and Talked to friends who knew and saw a woman who had a (tumor) fall of of a woman's neck in the healing line before even being prayed for personally. This inspired faith in my grandparents and my grandfather soon went on the road to evangelism. In 1964 (15 years Later) in Beaumont,Tx at an armory building where William Branham was conducting a healing meeting, my grandparents sat and consulted with a man who had cancer: who's skin was yellow laying on a cot and had been bedfast for months. My grandma prayed in her heart while William Branham was walking through the audience,"Lord if this man is a man of god like I think he is he'll call out and come pray for this man." Within a few moments she told me that he turned to this man which, they sat within a few feet and said,"how do you do sir?  if you lay here your going to die: why don't you get up and walk ?" and presently he rose up out of his cot. My grandma told me that his wife had told them her husband had not walked and been bedfast for about 8 or 9 months. My Grandpa was an Apostle first ordained or licensed by The United Pentecostal Church International and started preaching in the early 50's By March of 1958 he Pastored his first Church in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. He later became independent and traveled in many places in the United States and Mexico evangelizing. In The early 60's he Pastored two Local Churches in Houston,Texas one in Wharton,Texas and one in Wichita,Kansas . He endeavored to establish and pastored about Six churches in his lifetime. He wasn't a well known renowned Preacher yet, an humble devout man who Loved People. he was a preacher and teacher and had the word of knowledge and gift of Healing. He saw prophetic or "supernatural" visions and was also able to meet the late William Branham in Shreveport, Lousiana in 1965. In The early 60's my grandfather owned a typewriter business and supplied typwriters and office supplies for the local school districts and was also featured in the "Houston Chronicle" for his service to his community. In the 1970's he broadcasted on a local radio station in Se Houston & Pasadena,Tx and in a local paper led a gospel meeting or convention. In his later years he evangelized periodically to a small church in lampasas,Tx. In May 1995 My grandfather passed Away and went to be with the Lord at the Age of 64. Above is a Photo which is (fuzzy) my mother took of him in Lampasas,Tx off hwy 190 w a few months before he passed. This was in the same town where I saw my vision of heaven. We, believe the amber coloured lights above him to be an angel or angels of god surrounding him as a Witness. My desire is to minister the same Gospel with power and witness According to Acts ch 1:8 and have a fellowship of believers & Ministers  for the same purpose.
